> Since 1992, I have been serving as a professor at the College of Creative Engineering at Wonkwang University. At the university, I am dedicated to education and research in the field of transportation engineering and planning, a sub-discipline of civil engineering. In my area of expertise, I actively participate in various committees at both regional and national levels, including transportation-related government advisory boards.
> In support of the university’s advancement alongside national growth, I have been involved in policy research and proposals aimed at regional and academic innovation through my work with national academia-industry cooperation committees. These efforts also include delivering keynote speeches and special lectures for universities and industrial organizations on a regular basis.
> As a devout member of Won-Buddhism, I actively participate in community service through the Solsolsong Volunteer Group, engaging in free meal services and various other volunteer activities. During my tenure as President of the Central Youth Association of Won-Buddhism, I founded the “Friends of Peace” initiative and led numerous peace pilgrimages. I remain actively involved in interfaith activities and currently serve as the Chair of the Interreligious Promotion Committee of Won-Buddhism and as a member of the Supreme Council of Won-Buddhism.
