Yoshiharu Tomatsu, President, World Conference of Religions for Peace Japan; Executive Council, the World Fellowship of Buddhists.
Reverend Yoshiharu Tomatsu is currently a member of the executive committee of the World Fellowship of Buddhists, headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand. He received his master of divinity at Taisho University in Tokyo in 1979 and his master of theological studies at Harvard University Divinity School in 1991. Tomatsu has been the coordinator of Jodo Shu Research Institute Study Group on Bio-Ethics since 2000 and an associate professor at Keio University School of Medicine since 2005. Since 2022, Tomatsu has been the secretary general for World Conference Religions for Peace Japan.
