[Biography]

Rev. SangHo Na was ordained as a Won-Buddhist minister in 1986 and has since dedicated his ministry to the development of the Order and the promotion of its teachings. From 1991 to 1992, he served as Assistant Minister at the Department of Edification and Training at the Headquarters. From 1995 to 1997, he led the Bundang Won-Buddhist Temple as Head Minister, followed by his service at Won News (the official newspaper of Won-Buddhism) from 1998 to 2000.

From 2001 to 2006, he served as Section Head of the Department of Edification and Training, and from 2006 to 2009, as Director of the Office of Planning and Coordination at the Headquarters. From 2009 to 2012, he held the position of Director of the Office of Inspection Bureau, overseeing internal affairs and accountability within the Order.

In 2014, he led the Yeong-Kwang International Retreat Center as Head Minister, and from 2015 to 2018, he served as Head Minister of the Wonkwang University Temple, contributing significantly to campus-based spiritual guidance and education. From 2019 to 2021, he served as Head Minister of Gangnam Won-Buddhist Temple in Seoul.

Since November 2021, Rev. SangHo Na has been serving as the Executive Director of Administration at the Central Headquarters of Won-Buddhism. In addition, he currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for Won Buddhism Inc., Won Buddhism Global Public Service Foundation, and Won Buddhism Broadcasting Foundation, taking a leading role in administration, public service, and media outreach.
