== Biography ==
Prof. Rev. Park, Kwangsoo is currently serving as a reverend of Won-Buddhism and as an emeritus professor at Wonkwang University in the Republic of Korea.
Additionally, he is the President of the Academy of Korean Thought and Culture, an institution he established to advance his commitment to these fields and to foster networking and collaboration with international institutions.
Prof. Rev. Park received his M.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Iowa and his Ph.D. in Buddhist Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the USA. He has been actively involved in promoting religious dialogue and peace movements, particularly through the Korean Conference on Religion and Peace (KCRP), the Peace Education Committee of the Asian Conference on Religion and Peace (ACRP), and the Committee on Disarmament and Reconciliation of the World Conference on Religion and Peace (WCRP, now RfP), as well as various NGOs.
Throughout his distinguished career, he has held several significant positions, including Dean of the Graduate School of Asian Studies, Dean of Kyohak College, Director of the Research Center of Religions, and founder of the Research Institute of Mind Humanities at Wonkwang University.
He has also served in various important academic roles, such as President of the Korean Association for Religious Studies, President of the Korean Society of Yoga Studies, and Trustee Board Member of the World Buddhist University in Thailand.
