[Biography]
Dr. Grayzel (JD from Stanford, PhD anthropology University of Oregon) has over 25 years of international development experience in Francophone West Africa, in the research, design, planning, administration, implementation and evaluation of development assistance.
Now a private consultant, from 2006 to 2011 he was Research Professor / Baha’i Chair for World Peace, at the University of Maryland. He served from 1978 -2005 with USAID (Senior Foreign Service) in an array of positions, including: Director Office of Education, Director of Policy & Program Coordination, USAID/Kinshasa Mission Director and technical and leadership positions in agriculture, rural developmen, civil society, education, and democracy in India, Philippines, Mongolia, the Middle East and the South Pacific.
